We would like to setup replication of the folder contents on server1 as indicated below to the folder on server2.
server1.company1.com
c:\test1\
server2.company2.com
c:\test2\
Domains company1 and company2 have a forest trust setup with "forest-wide authentication".
I've tried to setup a DFS member server on server2.company2.com with server1 located on company1 but got error message "server1.company1.com: Information cannot be retrieved for the computer. The network path was not found"
Can someone please tell me what I am missing, as i'm stumped OR maybe this isn't the best option to use for file replication across two separate domains. Please help :).
