I work at a school where thru GPO I map students to Drive H which is a Handin drive.
Windows Server 2008 R2 with Windows 7 clients
All students logon using the same ID and password
Out of 20 laptops occasionally 1 of the laptops will be unable to access one of the folders on that map drive. Only some of the folders deny access.
The laptops connect via wireless although it doesn't matter if I try to connect thru a cable.
I've ensured that the user has permissions (well of course it does because the other laptops access OK!)
I've noticed that with a laptop that couldn't access the folder, I can rename the folder on the server and then access is allowed.
Does anyone have any ideas whats going on? Where do I start looking?
