Storage space parity disk supported with Dedup on?

Good day,

Is a parity virtual disk supported with dedup on? Reason why I ask this is: we are using a host server with Hyper-V. Configured a parity virtual disk. Assign a volume and turned on dedup. Created some vhdx and assigned them to a VM. This VM is running DPM. When one of the physical disks goes offline then the VM is crashing. We would expect that this should keep working. Happened two times. Repair of the Virtual disk is not correcting the problem. Some background info, the DPM setup with a VM running on a dedup virtual disk is based on the recent whitepaper "Deduplicating DPM storage" only we don't use a scale-out file server. So far all is working as expected, and we safe a lot of space. But a disk failure should be possible. Using a mirror virtual disk is not an option for now.

Kind regards, Erwin
