Hi all,

I'm searching for only a short information, but it seems nobody asked that before.

Does Branche Cache Support Remote Differential Compression for Client UPLOADS ?

Questions is:

When a Client changes a file, how will the saving process looks like ?

a. Is the data writen directly to main-site or first to hosted cache server on LAN?

b. Will the client write only the changes back or the full file?

Anybody can provide some input ? Whitepapers e.g. ?

When BC uses Remote Differential Compression for Down- and Upload, why the hell i should use DFS ? OK with DFS you have more control and so on, but at least BC is more charming because i have the file lock feature supported.

Regards Timo
